I keep revising my choice of song to play at my funeral (buried not cremated :)... here's my current one, a song that means a lot to me at the mo:
"Weight of the world" by The Editors...
Have you got any funeral choices?
I'm a walking, talking, living model of imperfection ;)
Well ... your first problem is that you seem to be limiting yourself to one song. For heaven's sake, man ... it's your funeral ... pick three or four!!
For me ... Amazing Grace - on bagpipes, It is Well (With My Soul), Beautiful Day (by U2), Pride (by U2), and there may be others.

If my body is in any kind of shape at all, I'm donating it to science.
And I think I'll let people remember me how they want. AS LONG AS THE TYPOGRAPHY IS GOOD ON THE ORDER OF SERVICE!

Gee, your happy!! ;-)
I'll definitely have Be Thou My Vision (Full band, drums etc version!) other than that I've not really thought about it.

Is planning your funeral songs something you often do. Cause I can honestly say I've never given it any real thought. I guess I wasn't really planning on being at my funeral in any meaningful sense of the word that is!

Planning my funeral is always on my to-do list, including song selection, but somehow some other thing distracts. Thanks for putting back to the top of my list! (great song choice btw)

I thought I was the only one morbid enough to do this!
"There Is A Day" by Phatfish, "Don't Look Back in Anger" but Krezip's cover of it rather than the original version by Oasis.
I also thought to lighten the mood to have something really random and upbeat, like Bob The Builder Mambo No. 5 or the Macarena or something...or maybe the Time Warp...

Thanks Sonja, i was hoping it would be a quick funeral so people could get down to the serious business of getting drunk in my honour ;)
