I can hardly believe that 2007 is gone and a new year is here!! Already it feels like a rush to think about this yr - christmas holidays are over and work looms, easter eggs are in the shops, summer holidays are being thought about... no wonder life feels so fast.
I need to think back and reflect over last year but i'd also to take a little pause to think about what I would like to do this yr. I'm so reluctant to plan so pretty much trying to keep the plans to a minimum.
However, having resolved to lose 2 stone last yr I made it 2/3rds of the way there so my resolution is to get my running shoes out again and finish the job off (or at least get out of breath trying) - how about you??
Write first ( http://www.d-train.net/article/249/i-jeffrey-gill-do-solemnly-resolve ). The beast that is Google Reader must be tamed.
Happy New Year, Paul!

Hi Paul - happy new year to you. I don't do NYRs as it doesn't work for me.
Cindy - a stone is 14 pounds.

Happy New Year to you Paul!
Good luck with the rest of the resolution.
I think mine is to keep trusting God like I've started to once again after a crazy 2007!

Good luck with the running! I have colleagues who go out jogging every lunchtime, I sort of both admire and fear them. Me and running have never got on that well!
Anyway, New Year's resolutions?...Drink less coffee, learn more Japanese, gossip less, be nicer to people (by which I mean say nicer more encouraging things, I'm more known for the witty, cutting one-liners!). But yeah, plans have a place, but so does going with the flow and trying to make the most of the year as it comes at you!

Thanks Katie, happy new yr to you too! I am currently being hampered by having so much nice food left from christmas - why is it always biscuits and chocolates that are left behind and not carrot sticks?? :)

Thanks Kamsin, i admire and fear people who run at lunchtime too - last time round i tried to get out for one eve a wk :). My neighbour over the rd asked if i wanted to come down to 5-a-side footie with him on a thurs so i'm gonna try that, altho slightly terrorfied :)
