So you're fed up with your church, tired, frustrated, disallusioned... it's too light weight, too deep, too loud, too quiet, too much bible, not enough bible, too big, too small, too worldly, too sheltered, too inward looking, too outward going, too modern, too ancient, too many comfy sofas, too many pews... etc etc.
So how do you choose another church to go to? Maybe these might help...
1) Be clear about what you are looking for...
2) Lessons from one family's journey to find a new church...
I love King of the Hill!
Glad to have found your blog and I look forward to interacting with your thougts as time goes on.

Thanks Paul for that, such a wake up call! And before I even watched the clips, the first thought that popped into my head as I started reading your post was: 'the point about church is that I'm not the point'... The clips just reinforced what I was thinking, so we are def on the same wave length on this one! And I get so frustrated with people who fuss about church not being tailored enough to their individual needs, and being so self-centered that they MISS the point of church completely. Mind you, don't we all do it?!?!
Question is: how do we go about challenging each other/ourselves/other people in a loving but real way?

King of the Hill is hillarious!
:-)
Prb because I've been to those chruches.
I mean that in love.
Actually, I was thinking earlier today, how much I love the body of Christ. Flaws and Frustrating, but love them anyway.
Good post.
