I did this spiritual assessement test "what archtypes are calling you " which indicated the following archtypes apply to my life...
Sage. You have a curious, critical mind that wants to be stretched and disciplined. Devote time to study, discussion, debate; test out the limits of your thinking.
Lover. You are attracted by romance, sensuality, intimacy, and love. Time to dress beautifully, get together with someone you love, and have a beautiful experience. Go out for an elegant dinner, or stay in and make your own. Escape to a spa or have a long intimate talk with a close friend or lover.
Jester. You want to lighten up. In fact, you are tired of being overly serious. Time to laugh, play, even spend some time making fun of people who are just too hung up to enjoy their lives.
Hero. You want to face and overcome a real challenge. You are drawn to test what you are made of. This is not a time to dilly-dally. It is a time to stand up and be counted. Pick a cause and fight for it. Or, find a competitive sport or other activity, and do your best to win.
Magician. You have a strong desire to heal or transform people or situations. Now is the time to develop your power. Explore the art of changing your own consciousness in order to influence others. Be the future you want to see.
Creator. You have a strong need now to express your creativity and imaginative potential. Find an art form and practice getting good at it. You may not be Picasso, but you do have a vision. Now is the time to encapsulate it in tangible form.
All of them really seem to fit my life at the moment, is this a really good test or just a broadly written one? So I'm curious, what are your archtypes and do they fit you?
HT to Discombobula

I scored highest on Sage, Hero and Creator and lowest on Ruler, Explorer and Every Person. Although the test seems really simplistic, I'd say that split is a pretty good snapshot.

Paul,
That was an interesting quiz. Magician was one of my top 3. The other 2 were:
Every person. You appreciate the way that everyone matters, just as they are.
Caregiver. You are drawn to being altruistic and helping others.

Hi Paul
Apparently I am principally an Explorer, followed by Creator.
Caregiver, Magican & Revolutionary tie for the 3rd Archetype, and Sage trails in their wake.
All good fun!
J :-)

Thanks F, always good to find a fellow hero-sage :) and its good that as a snapshot it fits. Although it does give me flash backs to my D&D playing days ;)

thanks Grace, do you recognise yourself in those descriptions?

Thanks Johnny - does that ring any bells for you?

Paul,
I would say that both magician and every person are descriptive of me. I have a strong desire to heal, transform, and include. The draw to caregiver is probably more descriptive of a change that I desire in myself, more how I would like to be than how I am now.

Thanks Grace, i think these things are always a mixture of who we are and who we want to be - that in itself is useful to know in helping us grow and develop. Are there any spefic ways/actions you are taking to become more of a care giver?

Hi Paul
I guess there's a bit of resonance there for me.

Hi Paul - apparently I'm a sage (and parsley too probably) first and creator second. Every person, revolutionary, jester and magician tied for 3rd.
Not too much resonance TBH, although there is some.
